Staff

After serving in Christian education for over 10 years, Rev. Griffis was called  to pastor Beaverdam Baptist Church of Fair Play, SC. His academic career consists of obtaining a Bachelor's degree from Liberty University in Religion and a Master's degree from Bob Jones University in Pastoral Studies. His love for missions is evident by his willingness to travel worldwide to proclaim the Gospel in places such as the Philippines and Togo, West Africa. Pastor Griffis has been married for over 25 years to his wife, Kelly Estes Griffis.  They have three daughters: Julee, Claire and Olivia.

David has been leading worship and singing for 40+ years, serving churches in NC, KY and MD. He lives in the Clemson SC area with his wife Susan. They have been married for over 45 years and have 2 children and 6 grand children.

Claire Childers provides love and guidance to our children and youth through classes and events that offer sound biblical teaching. She and husband Michael also share their talents and time to support the music ministry.

Beaverdam Baptist is blessed to have Kelly Griffis as our talented pianist. She and the Griffis family participate in all aspects of our music ministry and worship services.
